I offer copy editing, line editing/structural editing, and proofreading for books, articles, blog posts, term papers, scripts, and other wordy things. I also offer print design services for newsletters, posters, business cards, etc. My rates are as follows*:
Copy Editing and Line Editing:
Proofreading = $3 per page or $35/hr
Copy Editing = $4 per page (with fact-checking $4.50 per page) or $40–$45/hr
Line Editing = $5 per page or $50/hr
Graphic Design Projects:
Fees are on a per-project basis, and we can discuss the best price for your needs.
*I require that projects be paid 50 percent in advance and 50 percent upon completion of work via check, PayPal, Chase QuickPay, Venmo and Circle. When the work is done, I will send you an invoice marked “paid in full.” I must confirm payment has been received before editing can begin—please don’t be offended. Submit your manuscript via email attachment as Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx only). Double spaced, please. Projects over 50,000 words require no fewer than four weeks to complete.
